You heard that right, Defenders—as of today, the BackerKit for Defenders of the Realm, Legends Edition is live and ready for you to back!


Will You Answer the King’s Call?

Four terrifying bosses are marching on Monarch City, and four brave and mighty heroes have arisen to fight them. Combat the forces of darkness as:

  • Fera the half-giant Barbarian, who grows stronger the more damage she’s taken
  • Vitalia the elven Rogue, who banks damage dice each attack for stronger Sneak Attacks later
  • Samil the Human Ranger, who can strike from afar and bless the land as he walks
  • Krohl the dwarven Mage, who can teleport across the map and fill his spellbook with discarded cards to cast later

You’ll need to muster all your skills and powers to fight the beasts, goblins, and monsters that threaten the kingdom.

  • Gri the Goblin King, who extorts the kingdom and uses the money to fund his army and protect himself from attacks
  • Azzoz the Accursed, a mighty archdemon who curses the land in his wake, raising an army of imps as he goes
  • Dianara the Lich Queen, whose dark magic empowers herself and causes more darkness if you're not careful enough
  • Sapphire the Eternal Cold, an ice dragon who freezes the land and heals herself as the false winter grows

    • And that’s just the core game! With each stretch goal unlocked, new heroes, villains, and pieces will be added to the game.

    The stretch goals for this campaign include 4 heroes to add to the base game, as well as 4 expansions!

    New Heroes

    Knales the Druid is our first unlockable hero! She's a half-elf druid who comes with not one but TWO miniatures for both her human and beast form. The form of a panda-pangolin hybrid!

    Each new expansion we unlock comes with new characters, like we mentioned earlier, but the expansions all come with their own minions!

    Flames of Corruption have terrifying flaming skulls that scare other minions into charging. Skittering Brood has crystaloid attercops that either attacks or charges. Assembled Dead brings forth the dwarven necrods who move closer to the nearest boss to increase their numbers. And finally, Vile Growth has vigorous sporlings who grow back even when attacked!
